Journal entry from a 65-year-old man in Heden

Another lovely day at home for me I have been sick lately and unable to work but I have been able to get out to get some fresh air a few times. I slept as late as I could and woke up around 10 feeling a little better than I have been. My daughter left breakfast for me before she had left for work, which was very nice. I ate with Johnny who has been assigned to look over me while I am sick and Ben, my neighbor. After breakfast we watched some television for an hour or so, which was much more than usual but it was nice. We spent most of the in conversation talking about our families and our lives and many other things. They didn’t leave until my daughter and her husband showed up with my grandson. Conversations then continued throughout dinner and after. They then took me outside for a short 5-minute walk and then we sat on the porch. It was not much later that I felt I should go get ready for the night. I felt healthier all day than I have felt lately. I look forward to going back to work soon.
