Journal entry from a 30-year-old man in Heden
Today was really pretty average for me. I woke up around the usual 9 in the morning and cleaned up and went downstairs to find breakfast already on the table. This was a pleasant surprised. Shela, my wife will often surprise me with a ready meal but I never know when it will be. I ate with my family and left for work. I am one of the 10 members of the governing council and when I arrived to the government building I parked in my usual spot and went inside. Everyone was bright eyed and bushy tailed and on time as usual. We all sat down together, some with coffee, and we discussed the usual issues. We looked at some proposed laws and rules and a case of someone who had tried to perform his work alone. We talked about him and his values and questioned whether this is really the place for him or not. But no decisions will be made until we can speak to him in person. We also looked over some files from people who are asking to join Heden. So far they all seem to fit the bill. After work I came home and cooked up some dinner for the family. It had been a pretty relaxed day as usual. After dinner I brought my wife out to dance. We just returned home a half hour ago and got in bed.
